This page, interestingly enough, was inspired by quite a fascinating person:  Chris Kusseling.   Do you know who that is?  You will.

The other night I was watching Remember The Titans with my husband and afterwards I decided to do a little digging online to see if I could find out more information about the ORIGINAL '71 Titans.  It just so happens, they had a website (wasn't that lucky?) and I did.

Anyway, long story short, I signed the guest book and the next day received an email from Chris Kusseling, who was portrayed in the movie as Allan Bosley #48 (he's the one grooving to the country music just before the other guy says, "Does the word CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT mean ANYTHING to you?")

A few emails later, we establish that he's visited my web site, he's hard of hearing (although it's not mentioned in the movie), and he's wondering where the music section of my site is.   He's a major music fan, too.  Now I find this kind of interesting because, hey, every other web site I've ever had HAS incorporated a music section, especially because I like to pay tribute to all those Canadian musicians out there.

Hm...probably has to be "Show Me Your Glory" by Third Day.

I love them.

MUSIC

So here it is:  the genesis of my music page.   Read it and rock.

Melissa's Canadian Musicians Page

This is, of course, dedicated to Canadian musicians because there are a heck of a lot of them out there.  We practically dominated the music awards a few years back when Sarah McLaughlin, Celine Dion, and Shania Twain could not LOSE!
