I'm hoping to be more on top of the whole update thing.
Now that I've reinstalled Windows for the umpteenth time, my web files should be easier to access.
Seriously, it was probably the hard drive.

"Real Life" now on Kindle!

How exciting! The book is now available on Kindle! I was so excited, I bought it myself. I noticed a few "extra" blank pages, but if you click forward enough, the book really is there. Kindle sometimes wonks out a bit on formatting, I've noticed that lately in reading some of my favourite authors, but this is a small price to pay for immediate access and a nice discount.

It's good enough for me! I headed off to Hawaii for a couple of weeks for Danielle's Sweet Sixteenth birthday present. Isn't it great how her birthday present somehow had me going to Hawaii? I mean, is that brilliant or what?

A Visit to the Homeland

I was back in Canada visiting friends and family and enjoying the rain. It marks a year after our 20-year high school reunion (go Argyle '87!).

I wrote a book ages ago and, somewhere along the line, wiped off the pages that were packed away collecting dust, re-edited so that I wouldn't die of mortification if my grandmother ever read it, and decided to self-publish. If you want something done right, you do it yourself.
I never intended on writing the great gut-wrenching novel, I just wanted to write a fun story with my own strange brand of perspective and sense of humour. So, ladies, if you're into "chick lit", this is a good way to kill an hour or two.
