Fast Fact

Melissa even has a video about her cat.

Videos

I really enjoy taking a few minutes and putting together a cute video.

Okay, wait.  Who am I kidding?  This stuff is not easy for me!  I did a 20-second video today and it took me over 4 hours

I just picked up PhotoShop Premiere (Elements) -- I'm not Ivana Trump after all, so I'm still getting the hang of it.  Anyway, enjoy.

They're totally random.

CoH Hiring Practices (on G4)

This cute video was done a few years ago while we were still in the Jury Court building.

BTW, "Oculist" is sitting at my desk and those are my posters on that wall behind him.  The dork in black who is "Amazon" is, yes, me.

Indecisive?

I just did this for fun.  I've trained my cat to jump and though it took me a second or two he did it on cue.  Unfortunately, he also does it off cue, which is when I'm cooking or playing Rock Band on the XBox 360.  He's an equal opportunity jumper, he does it to guests, too.

Mayan Adventure Trailer

The Mayan Adventure is a Christian movie I wrote, cast, and produced for Redletter Studios.  Dave Huwe, who worked on "America's Sweethearts" and "Ocean's Eleven" was the Creative Arts Pastor and he directed this.  It was the studio's first movie to get people who normally don't go to church to get in the seats.  We had a budget of $2,000 dollars which went to paint and lumber.

New Orleans Missions Trip

I grabbed a bunch of pictures and threw them together with some music to show our trip in a more interesting and creative way.

The Stage 3 Youth Group from Family Community Church headed to New Orleans to help out and discover what it's really like, 2 years AFTER Hurricane Katrina (August 2007). We had no idea.

My extended family comprised of 1/3 of the trip (5 of 15!) - how cool is THAT?!

We roofed a building, handed out relief supplies, prayed with people who lost nearly everything, ran a Sports Camp for the children of the area (Adullam), and anything else they had for us to do.

Outtakes from above Missions Trip

It wasn't all work. We had time to be dorks, too.

The girls decided that Ricky, one of our fellow student volunteers, was worth some serenading, so they sang "Hey 'Ricky'" to him every day. I had to make a montage just for that.

Crazy missions volunteers :D

Player Meet in Brighton for City of Heroes.

They flew me in to Brighton for the weekend as a surprise guest.  My game developer persona is "War Witch", which is why they're introducing me by the name.
